About the Artist: John Reed (Various Mediums and Styles)

"I have always been passionate about art - even as a child - but never more so than SURREALISM. It captures the eye and the imagination at the same time. I attended the Cleveland Art College and the Cleveland Art Society, where I learnt different styles and techniques. I received help and advice from prominent local artists.

More recently, I have tried Gerhard Richter's drag painting. I also do IMPRESSIONISM after Monet and Van Gogh, and I sculpt in steel, wood, and clay. I love exploring the creative process. As something new, I also do pour-painting - I'm having a great time learning."
